Welcome to WireBird Designs

I’m Cherie, an upholsterer and soft furnishings specialist based in Eastergate, West Sussex. I create bespoke upholstery and handmade soft furnishings, combining traditional craftmanship with contemporary design to give furniture a new lease of life.

I also run friendly, hands-on upholstery classes and workshops for all abilities, sharing the skills and techniques that have been at the heart of my career. I believe in celebrating craftmanship, sustainability, and the joy of making.
